As my resume reflects, I have extensive experience as a civil construction superintendent in various construction capacities including, but not limited to general construction, concrete work, pile driving, earth and wall construction and bridge work.
I have been working in the construction profession for 30 years. My areas of experience include: general building- prisons and correctional, stadiums, exhibition halls, youth centers and other large buildings. Industrial process- steel & non-ferrous metals, chemical, water sewage plants, oil refineries, food processing, and pulp and paper mills. Warehouses- distribution facilities and free standing- bridges, water towers and transmission towers. Retail building-malls, shopping centers, stores and Government work.
My earlier jobs have been exciting and I’m sure the next opportunity will hold even more promise.

Superintendent on a 4m project for the U.S. Coast Guard setting navigation systems. Required Pile driving .And installation of solor navigation equipment
2/07-9/08 Rotondo Weirich
Superintendent responsible for precast prison cell for cca. Precast modular cell blocks, production superintendent, and work in fabrication overseeing shop repairs and change overs on form molds for cell blocks.
2/05-2/07 NATGUN
Superintendent for a precast, prestress concrete tank company. Job cost ranged from 1M to 25M with tank sizes from 100,000 to 15,000,000 gallon. Setting of panels required use of 300 to 500 ton cranes. Duties were to oversee the project from site work to finish, set up crews, rental equipment, weekly schedules, set up subs, payroll sheets (primarily by use of Microsoft Excel). Jobs required my travel to several different states in the eastern part of the country.

Superintendent doing work on overhead walk bridge for the city of Akron, cost of job $300,000.
Foundation work for a Massillon Community Building. Cost of job 1M
Foundation work for Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio. Job cost 2.5M
Did other retail construction for: Jade Jewelers, Smokey Bones, McDonalds, Kay Jewelers, Carrabbas Restaurant Self- employed housing construction and nursing homes. Various remodeling and concrete work projects ranging from 50,000 to 1/2M
10/00-4/01 Hammond Construction
Superintendent doing millwright work for a reverse polishing mill subcontracted by Hammond under the designer, S.M.S. Hammond Construction installed all the equipment having a tolerance of plus or minus .0002 foundation work for a reverse polishing mill for stainless steel. Project took 1year start to completion and cost $5M.
2/84-10/00 Beaver Excavating
Superintendent on State Route 35 between Gallipolis and Jackson, Ohio involved in all stages of road construction. Project was 8M. Superintendent for piling and precast bridge. Construction involved abutment work only.
• Three bridges for AEP power plant in Beverly, Ohio. Piling and abutments and single span poured decks with parapet walls. 5M project.
• Earth and Wall construction work on Ohio State Route 30 and pre-cast bridge work. One single span precast bridge with abutment walls only. Three four span bridges with poured decks (1989 first year gross maintenance cost was 300,000 and built gross revenue up to $3M a year in) and parapet walls, including stems and hammerheads. All three bridges were poured decks with parapet walls. Also one slab bridge with mostly abutments and piers cost of job 5M.
• Two bridges for County of Stark, Ohio (Canton and Navarre). One precast deck with abutments only. One two span with coffer dams and center pier. Cast in place with parapet walls.
• Earth and Wall construction project on State Route 7 doing dirt work, footers, backfill and the construction of the earth-n-wall. Total project was $13M.
• Superintendent responsible for construction of The Timken Companies Faircrest Steel Mill (Canton, Ohio) including construction of the Faircrest Roll Mill and foundations for furnaces at Faircrest Casting Mill; superintendent for all construction maintenance work at the Faircrest Steel Mill from 1984 to 1989. Project lasted 3 years and cost 8 mill including foundations for furnaces at Faircrest casting mill. Superintendent for maintenance contract at Faircrest mill from 1984 to 5 years of work.
• Superintendent for concrete formwork for recycling pit for cooling water for furnaces at U.S. Kolbee Steel in Lorain, Ohio cost of job $1.8M. Superintendent for foundation works at U.S. Steel Plant in Butler, Pennsylvania doing concrete foundation construction for new steel mill run out cost of job 2.5 mill. Superintendent for continuous cast mill in Canton, Ohio along with foundation work for the numbers 1 through 4 strand mill and Marley Cooling Towers at Republic. Foreman for Timken Step 98 project (Dueber Plant) Doing construction of new reheat furnace foundation and anchor bolts. New reheat furnace and roll mill project cost 8 mill. Formed and poured 26,000 yards of concrete in 9 month start to finish.
• Worked as a Superintendent on Various petroleum plant projects, including Ashland Oil Refinery (Canton, Ohio) doing concrete work of tank foundations, hazardous containment trenches and operator buildings from ground to finish. Worked all plant shut downs over a period of 31 years as Superintendent, Foreman, and Carpenter at the Timken Company and Republic/LTV Steel Mills doing complete tear out and replacing/rebuilding of various concrete foundations, Roll Mills, Melting furnaces under short term constraints during plant shut downs (Start to Finish in 14-21 days).
• Site work and concrete work for cellular towers at 5 different locations
Worked as a carpenter while attending and graduating from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 69 Apprenticeship Program. Assisted with the building of the Canton City Water Treatment Plant (Canton, Ohio) doing mostly concrete formwork.
SPECIAL TRAINING:
Certified training in OHSA standards (6 years); CPR Trained; Trained in Heavy Highway Blueprint Reading, Civil Building; Trained in Laser Site Work and Concrete Construction, Including EL-1 Laser Plane, Dual Laser Plane and Pipe Lasers; Trained in Confined Hazardous Space Work (Face and Full Gear); Experienced in Pile Driving, Diesel and Vibrating Extractor use, Dirt Spread Pan Work, Pans, Dozer, Backhoe, Cuts and Fills, and Cranes. Experience with EFCO Forms, Waco Form Systems, Alan Form Systems, Safeway Form Systems and Mini Mag Forming Systems.
SAFETY AND QUALITY CONTROL:
Head of quality control program with Beaver Excavating for five years. Fails management training in construction industry. Safety award for 17,000 personal man-hours and safety award for twenty years with only one-person accident.
